In summer 2008, Erik Boyter decided to retire from Pressalit Group A/S’ Management Committee and the daily running of the company, expressing his desire to pursue other interests outside the family-owned business. In the interim period, Erik Boyter has continued to be part of the group of owners behind Pressalit Group A/S and a board member of Pressalit Holding A/S, the parent company of Pressalit Group A/S.
As of today, however, there is a change in ownership, as Erik Boyter has now decided to sell his holding in Pressalit Holding A/S, which represents 25% of the share capital of the company. Erik Boyter is also retiring from the board of Pressalit Holding A/S with immediate effect.
“Kim Boyter and I have therefore decided to acquire Erik’s holding and share it equally between us. We are both deeply involved in the daily running of the company and it was only logical that we extended our control of the company when the opportunity presented itself”, explains Dan Boyter, Executive Vice President and COO of Pressalit Group A/S.
In addition to Kim and Dan Boyter the owner group also includes Fay Boyter, Mogens Boyter’s widow. Fay Boyter owns 25% of the share capital in Pressalit Holding A/S, including all the class A shares. Following the transfer of shares effective as of today, Kim Boyter and Dan Boyter will each own 37.5% of the company’s share capital.
The current Management Committee of Pressalit Group A/S comprises Kim Boyter (President & CEO) and Dan Boyter (Vice President & COO).
